The Art Roundup That Time Forgot: Little Heroes, New Ariel, & Kermit The Dragon??

This week I was scrolling through my old post drafts and discovered an entire art roundup I never posted.

 Seriously, I wrote most of this a whopping seven months ago, then I guess I got distracted by something shiny?


I told John I must be losing my mind, but he says this is just a lovely little quarantine gift and I should just go with it. So here we go, going with it!

Here's one advantage of losing this draft for 7 months: when I first wrote this Emily Cannon didn't have an online shop... but now she does! So now you can get prints of these lovelies:

John and I just met Asher East last month (err, 7 months ago) at Tampa Comic-Con, which we were astounded to learn was her first ever convention. She's been painting for years, though, and her style can only be described as otherworldly and dreamlike:

 

 Many of Asher's prints were embossed with gleaming metallics or subtle shimmers, and everything was on the most heavenly thick textured paper. Photos truly can't do her work justice.

I was tempted by one of her unicorn frogs; the colors were so vibrant they practically leapt off the

page - pun intended. ;)

Here are two of her newer pieces I had to include, because OH MY CUTE:

TerriDragon makes soft sculpture dragons of every fandom imaginable - she must have hundreds! - and they range from hilarious to adorable to borderline genius:

Tin Man and Pennywise. OMIGOSH.

Can you guess these two?

 That's Swedish Chef and Hagrid. (Hagrid as a dragon is really the most appropriate mashup ever, I think he'd be delighted.)

My favorite, though, has to be Kermit:

He's just so perfect! Look at the little wings! Hee!
