For Margaret G.'s 40th birthday her husband surprised her with the most AMAZING Hamilton-themed gift - and happily for us, she shared the whole thing on the Epbot Facebook page today!
Get ready to sing along, Hamilton peeps, because this is GLORIOUS.
Let's go.
... and here's the pièce de résistance:
SHE'S GONNA BE IN THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS.
(I legit squealed and teared up - and I'm not even Margaret.)
Happy birthday, Margaret, and thank you for sharing your hubby's incredible gift!
And for the rest of us, hey, at least there's The Tony Awards tomorrow night, right?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHOLY COW THIS IS AMAZING I AM SO JEALOUS (not least because my husband doesn't get it [yet?])
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing gift, both the journal and the show tickets
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic. So much care went in to that creative gift "wrapping".
ReplyDeletewow that is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME! :o
ReplyDeleteThe man is obviously a keeper!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible guy!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible guy!!!
ReplyDeleteI teared up, too! That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo flippin' cool!!! My jealousy knows no bounds. <3
ReplyDeleteO-M-G I would just die~!! I want to see this show badly- we are going to NY in October for a family function and I wish I could get tickets. Margaret is a lucky lady. Plus, her husband is hella creative with that presentation. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteNicole, a friend of mine just found tickets for December, even though before it had looked sold out. There do seem to be a few tickets that get returned or released for various reasons. I would look every day! (And of course be sure to enter the lottery, you never know!)
DeleteSign up for the e-mail list! That's how I got tickets. For FEBRUARY.

DeleteMy daughter is in Manhattan for a summer internship. There is a cancellation line outside the theater. First time, in May, she waited and got SRO tickets for $40! But she got to see Lin! Last weekend my other daughter went and they waited and got row Q seats for $130. You may want to get in the cancellation line early morning for the 2pm matinee. We're going to try this weekend while she's still there.
DeleteThe presentation is almost as good as the actual tickets! Margaret is a very lucky lady and her hubby really knows how to make a terrific impression. I hope they share pictures of the trip with you (and I really mean us).
ReplyDeleteOH MAN
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for her! Chills!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAA THIS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN
ReplyDeleteLove love love. Only in my dreams! But love that someone gets this perfection of a gift!
ReplyDelete!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was perfection!
I think he blew us all away with that satisfying gift!
Wow! I am so impressed. And a little jealous...
ReplyDeleteI always forget where in FL you guys are near... whenever something bad happens down there, I'm always wondering if you/your family's all ok. But stay safe and sending good thoughts for anyone affected by the Orlando shooting.
ReplyDelete(I have a terrible memory if you do not actually live there, btw, lol)
DeleteThanks, J, we do live in Orlando, but we're fine. Numb and grieving, but safe.
DeleteSometime tweet this to Lin, he'd love it!
ReplyDelete(And yes, I refer to him by his first name; since Jen introduced us, I've spent time with him almost every day!)
ReplyDeleteI did something similar for my boyfriend as I got us tickets for Hamilton for Christmas. I knew he didn't know about it so I made a whole "program" with articles and reviews so he could understand what he was in for and that ended with telling him we had tickets! He loved it!
ReplyDeleteWowsers! I clearly fell down on presenting my daughter with tickets for her birthday! I just gave her the Hamiltome with it...ah, well, we both appreciated the show itself. :)
