Time for my first geeky art roundup of 2016!
Starting with
Genefy Prints, which has a vibrant, splattery style that's simply gorgeous:
At first these reminded me of CocoMila, who I've featured here before, but Coco's are strictly silhouettes, where these have lots more interior detail.
Here's the one that really made my jaw drop:
I never thought I'd want a picture of a Dementor this badly, you guys. It positively glows!
Prints come in a variety of sizes over at Genefy's shop, and start at just over $11 each. Plus there's over two hundred to choose from, so good luck narrowing down your favorites!
***
A sweet otter family by Nidhi Chanani:
Lots more cuteness like this at her shop, where small prints start at just $4.50.
***
Rob Reep has a classic comic book style I'm really digging:
Plus I'm loving all the fandoms mashed into this print: Can you find the TARDIS, R2, Han's blaster, and Rocket's tail? And that's just for starters!
A couple more:
All of Rob's 11X17 prints are just $12. Check out his Etsy shop for the rest!
***
I just discovered the retro-licious style of Liana Hee, and I am in love:
Liana has about 40 different prints you can buy in her Etsy shop, which start as low as $12 each.
She also sells the most adorable tiny mermaid paintings, though the originals get snapped up in seconds. Follow her on Instagram for a heads up on when new originals like this will hit her shop:
***
I'm really digging Jessica Madorran's take on the Disney princesses as warriors:
It's so refreshingly different, you know? (Jasmine's my favorite.)
Madorran also has fantastic original characters:
Sadly most of these aren't for sale, but Madorran has a handful of prints available here, and she also takes commissions, which start at $35. Check out the rest of her work here on DeviantArt!
***
Here's something amazing: Lisa Villella created a custom deck of cards based on Avatar, and every single card features a different character from the shows!
The deck costs $50, or you can buy larger prints of individual cards starting at $10.
The prints of Korra and Ang would make a perfect set together. Just sayin'.
Oh, and Lisa also has these adorable Harry Potter stickers for $2 each:
Check her shop for lots more goodies.
