I love puns, and I love cute. So when I spotted THIS at Dragon Con over the weekend, I positively squealed with delight:
RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
You *will* love her.
D'awwwwww.
You don't see many kids at Dragon Con at night, so props to this mom for braving the crowds with her cutie-patootie.
And yes, more DCon cosplay is coming!
Just curious- was the Borg cube hiding a stroller or was Mom lugging that thing with a shoulder strap?
ReplyDeleteShoulder straps! Still not really sure how the baby was attached to her, though - maybe a Baby Bjorn harness?

DeleteBwahahah! her "red shirt" is another great joke! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Ensign Red Shirt. Thank you to a clever mom for a super idea and thanks to Jen for brightening our day with the awesome photo.
ReplyDeleteHa! Love it! The baby looks fascinated at all the awesome geekiness going on around her. It makes me have hope for her future. ;)
ReplyDeleteAwwww! Adorarable! And what a patient, easy-going baby. My son would've had an instant melt-down if I'd ever put him in a situation like that. He would've torn that stuff off his head in under three seconds, guaranteed.
ReplyDeleteMore pics! More! More! MOOOOOORE!!
KW
What a great cosplay! Very creative, Mom! (and those baby cheeks?!! Oooh!)
ReplyDeleteClever! Made me smile.

I LOVE it! Did you by chance run across the toddler God of War? I never was able to get a good shot of him but he was sooo stinkin cute.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - how cute! What an imaginative way to carry (and entertain) a baby.
ReplyDeleteD'awww.... So adorable! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMummy's a red shirt,brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to be a fun killer, but: Carrying a baby face forward is not only bad for its posture and bones, but also way to much sensory input - even in a normal environment.
ReplyDeleteI know this mother and the baby...trust me as far as this baby is concerned there is no such thing as too much sensory input...they are both live wires...also she spent most of the con in her specially modded stroller with dragon eggs dressed as a little fairy...she was only out a couple of hours in this get up. also forward facing is not bad for occasional use for a baby of this age.
DeleteThat is awesome. :D
ReplyDeleteThis mom is amazing not only for getting out and about with her baby and doing so in fabulous style, but because carrying a baby like that is by no means comfortable! So she gets extra mega bonus points from me. (And if she figured out a way to do this comfortably I'd LOVE to hear her secret.)
