So this is my new favorite thing ever:
SO MUCH YES.
I waited to watch it with John the first time, and as soon as Stay Puft appeared I may have started squealing like a fangirl banshee.
Little(?) Known Fact: it's one of my heart's dearest desires to someday have a screen accurate Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume. Yes, really. Some people want to go to France, I want this. WHAT.
Me in a Stay Puft costume by the amazing Len Peralta.
Anyway, so get this: the company responsible for that Stay Puft, Decimated Designs, has actually made the plans available online FOR FREE. (Here's the link.) So methinks it may be time to try my hand at a little foam fabrication. [eyebrow waggle]
I will be the world's only five foot tall Stay Puft.
And it will be GLORIOUS.
Now I'm off to watch that video a few more times. Toodles!
Best thing ever to watch with my first morning coffee. 8D <3
ReplyDeleteReally great start to the day. I can only imagine Adam Savage spitting out his morning coffee with laughter.
ReplyDeleteI agree, you NEED to make that Stay Puft costume! But first, did you finish Claptrap?
ReplyDeleteNot yet! I took a break for all the Halloween crafts last month, so I'll be getting back to him very soon.
Deleteyou are going to be pure perfection when you rock that costume! can't wait to see what you create!
ReplyDeleteAw, c'mon Jen... Steampunk Stay Puft -- the corset would be hilarious.
ReplyDeleteIt will be glorious indeed. You will be posting pictures, right?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the name drop! Those free patterns are of course our old designs, but please do let me know if you make the costume or if I can be of any assistance :) The number of Stay Puft variants I would do were I to have the time is staggering, but steam punk is a new one for the list lol.
ReplyDeleteMini Stay Puft would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteAs would Steampuft.
