SO... here's a little something that brightened my Sunday:
I get a lot of amazing costume photos from you guys, but Caitlin's Weeping Angel inspired me. So, a few minutes of photo editing later...
This is one of those times when low lighting actually helps - yay for extra creepiness!!
Thanks so much to Caitlin for sharing! (And keep an eye on her blog for more details, which I hear are coming soon!) Maybe I'll have to start featuring some of my favorite FB posts every now and then, just so the rest of you won't miss out.
Oh, and by the way...
YOU BLINKED.
Excellent costume! Reading the posts by fans is one of my go to places for fun. Though Facebook us trying to make it harder. ...
ReplyDeleteWAAAAH! I'm on Epbot! Thanks Jen!
ReplyDeleteThat is fabulous! How did you make the costume? Details!
ReplyDeleteWith many a late night haha! I'll put up details on my blog (shameless linkage, sorry - www.undomestiCaited.wordpress.com) but it won't be today I'm afraid, as I'm over in the UK and it's bedtime! thanks very much!
DeleteThe costume is fantastic but the prior post had me in tears. Undomesticaited you rock!
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you :) a very important cause. And handily timed so that I would be almost bald while wearing a mask and wig!
DeleteFUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU! GENERAL DOGS BODY @ CRIPPLED UP DOT COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SEND ME MY ROYALTY CHEQUE OTHERWISE I AM GOING TO GO YOU! FOR EXTORTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I miss the highlights on Facebook pages. That was about the only good thing in the timeline format. (You can still "highlight" but it doesn't really do anything except put a star next to the post.)
ReplyDeleteAnd ohmigoodness Caitlin, I could totally use you for my Doctor Who group cosplay. Any chance you'll be coming to New York for NYCC in October? :D I'll definitely be bookmarking your blog for those in-progress pics
Thank you! That's very flattering but I'm afraid I won't be there no, I would LOVE to go, but unfortunately I'm in England.
DeleteOne thing with the angels.. I never understand why NO ONE thinks of winking at them, they are observed but you don't have to destroy your eyes (and awesome costume btw!)
ReplyDeleteAmy does! When she's locked in that container thingy with the video angel she winks alternate eyes at it. She really should have shared that idea...
DeleteAbsolutely perfect! So creepy, too! I visited Manchester for the first time last month and wound up at a Geek Pride party. So fun!
ReplyDeleteLove this! I would pee my pants if I ran into someone dressed like this!
ReplyDeleteOh please share from Facebook! I don't use it, and would love to see some of the amazing things I'm sure you're sent all the time. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you approve of the post from Beatrix? If so, it's time I part ways with EPBOT.
ReplyDeleteI think (if I remember rightly) Jen said a little while back that she had to change it so comments went up automatically, as she was getting so many that it was taking up a lot of time - most likely she hasn't seen it yet to delete it.
DeleteJen- I am highjacking your thread to put out a request for someone to create art, or a costume, of Jar-Jar sporting a Star Trek red shirt.... please!?
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Oh, for a fraction of that talent!
