I DARE YOU TO WATCH THE WHOLE THING.
And the weirdest part?
No, not the faceless chubby dancer. Not the Barbie doll and banana hair clip. Not the stream of eyeball vomit, or the giant femur floating through the window, or even this new facial tic.
[twitchtwitchtwitch]
No, it's that I think that was a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese commercial.
o.O
Thanks, Dave B.
I think.
I got through maybe half of it. I think I'm crazy now
ReplyDeletei'm rather partial to the bird vomit. and the whole fating-a-"rainbow" bit.
ReplyDeleteWow. Way way pon pon pon... Epic. I may never be the same again!
ReplyDeleteWV: unpot - what the makers of the video had been smoking?
The only thing that would make this better is seeing this girl compete on the next Women of Ninja Warrior episode!
ReplyDeleteWell poop, I want to watch it but it's unavailable in my country [Germany].. as are most of the videos I want to see. Can't wait to get back to America! I'll come back to this post and watch it.. 3 months and counting!
ReplyDeleteUgh - that is the stuff of nightmares! EVen my 3 tr old said "What is playing? Watch a different one?"
ReplyDeleteWell thats something I wish I didn't have stuck in my head. The chubby faceless dancer is the stuff of nightmares!!
ReplyDeletePossibly? But I think maybe, since I spotted a bunch of junk food, maybe it's one of those after school special type songs? Get up and move and put down the pocky and mac-n-cheese and take your eyeballs for a ride on a unicycle? With your dinosaur? So your femur will be healthy? ... I got nothin'.
ReplyDeleteWell, the chubby dancer can dance... More rhythm than I have in my big toe! Sad about not having a face. So scary! I'm about to send this to my friend who is studying in Japan for the summer for some reassurance that this is NOT typical of Japanese commercials. Because, I think you're right, it might be an advertisement, and that's the worst part.
ReplyDeleteOH...MY...GOSH!
ReplyDeleteI watched the whole thing... I can't help but feel that I was being brainwashed to do something horrible.
ReplyDeleteI thought 'eyeball vomit' was a figurative reference to all the graphics. It wasn't.
ReplyDeleteBut please, do tell me that John not long sings this, but does the dances as he founces about the house.
she does look pretty good with a moustache though.
ReplyDeleteLord, that was the longest four minutes of my life. I'm feeling you on the facial tic...
ReplyDeleteLook! Toast appears and arranges itself when I clap!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat now we are probably all brainwashed and can be triggered by a secret phrase(Mac&cheese perhaps)to do dirty deeds.
ReplyDeleteI second the commentor who asked what the makers were smoking
er, i fat-fingered that response. FARTING, not fating.
ReplyDeleteWHAT. was. that!!!???
ReplyDeleteLisa Frank on an acid trip?
The undualting bubblegum head. I want to vomit.
well. that was disturbing. i think i'll go curl up in a fetal position in preparation for defense against those chubby faceless lunch lady dancers of doom that will be invading my nightmares tonight. maybe they will throw eyeballs and femur bones at me. *shudder*
ReplyDelete-kate the girl who is now afraid of colorful obese dancing faceless, well you get the idea
Watched the whole thing. I think I'm scarred, and a little obsessed. Apparently, the singer is a Harajuku blogger and model, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Interesting post at http://patrickmacias.blogs.com/er/2011/07/on-ponponpon-.html including a sketchy translation of the song's lyrics.
ReplyDeleteWV: odoodse - after the makers of the video finished smoking the unpot, what they began their statements with, as in "Odoodse all the floating eyeballs? We should totally use them."
Pon pon way way way, way way way pon way pon pon, way way pon pon pon, way way pon way pon way way... dear lord I will be singing this all afternoon...
ReplyDeletebased on the eyes printed on her clothes, and the general trippiness, I suspect Takashi Murakami is involved. which makes this awesome, in an intentionally-surreal pop-art kind of way.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching the whole thing through...well, you dared me jen!...I can say with certainty that that was really weird. I saw some fiddle faddle, mac and cheese, eyeballs and brains. And, yeah...what was up with that rainbow fart? What the heck is this?!?!?!
ReplyDelete...i think I'm having a nervous breakdown trying to figure this out.
I watched the video without sound (I'm at work, so I have to be sneaky, lol!). I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a headache for the rest of the day now - that video was brutal! I don't think I will be watching it again with the sound.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing?
You can tell they're selling something because of the pogo stick; pogo sticks SELL, baby!
ReplyDeleteI think it's some kind of creepy after-school special/music video/acid-trip about the dangers of too much junk food and Lisa Frank products.
We definitely need this translated...
ReplyDeleteI watched all of it. Tell John he can only sing the song if he also does the dance.
ReplyDeleteSad. Can't see it in Germany. :(
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go stab pointy things into my ears and eyes now. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAlso, my WV is "vaggies" what the heck kind of a website are you running here?!?!?
rough translation I found:
ReplyDelete"at the intersection, surely everyone skips
surely, in the middle of the town, holding hands and looking up at the sky
surely, somewhere in the city, a chance will be seized
its still too early to cry, just keep moving forward, wai yai ya
PON PON if you show it, thats good
not doing so is boring, hm?
put on headphones and sing along

So I think it's about embracing your inner kid/letting your freak flag fly...maybe?
I think this is what they show crazy people to make them sane.....
ReplyDeleteIt's just a music video actually XD The girl who's in it is a model, and this is her first song. The designer for the Japanese brand 6% Doki Doki designed the video.
ReplyDeleteI've got a budding migraine and it was an awful idea to watch that. I think it spurred the headache on.
ReplyDeleteMy eyes won't focus properly.
My wv: soasms
-what a contestant on Project Runway has when they get super excited about something they've sewn.
I couldn't back down from a dare. I wish I had waited until you at least triple dog dared me. :P That was quite possibly the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteReally cute kid.....the video....not so cute, lol!!! Um, wow....thanks Jen. Can't unsee that now!
ReplyDelete(And I may be singing that in my head the rest of the day...dang catchy tune!)
Another translation, that makes slightly more sense (in as much as that's possible) http://wonkytranslation.blogspot.com/2011/07/blog-post.html
ReplyDeleteJen, I know you love Jon, but--if I were you--I would have left him after the first time he sang it.
ReplyDeleteDid she fart rainbows at 1:29? I think she farted rainbows at 1:29. Also, I may be having a panic attack after watching this. It's like that Simpson's episode where the Homer dishwashing soap causes people to have seizures.
ReplyDeleteYes, I did watch it all, and my 10 yr old son did also. He thought it funny. I also wonder what lies beneath to brainwash us...
ReplyDeleteNO PON, NO WAY! That is all.
ReplyDeleteOMG! My coworker showed me that video last week and I told him he's the one I'm calling at 3 in the morning when I'm afraid the faceless Granny is hiding under my bed.
ReplyDeleteDirector: Lets take every single graphic we have, all those mismatch toys too... and throw them into one video... add a model to it.. and make her sing.. THAT should get some attention!
ReplyDelete*crickets chirping* Director: I SAID!!
Rest of video cast: OH! YES! That sounds great! *praise for "intelligent" director*
I laughed SO hard when I saw this that I had to watch it twice all the way through just to catch all of the craziness. That is how you make a 'memorable' music video that doubles as a scary movie! O.o
Ok, I watched the whole thing. Do I win a prize? Cuz I think my brain just melted.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of postings disparaging this video. I actually kinda like it. It reminds me of Devo or Weird Al's Dare to be Stupid or Pee Wee's Play House. It's got a weird 80's Tim Burton-esque using culture in a counter culture Pop vibe to it. It's creative, different, dand it's catchy.
ReplyDeleteThat room is pretty much exactly out of my childhood imagination! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy, especially after seeing a translation. Bounce!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's different. I started looking around for River just to see if she would go all ninja warrior to this like in Serenity.
ReplyDeletesweet jesus, what the hell was that. O.o
ReplyDeletei think i may have been brain washed and will now go crazy in a bar and beat everyone up until my brother says the magic words to make me fall asleep.
WordVerificational :: ingentsi - is that like the intelligentsi? but not quite? like, the junior kind? who were obviously not present when this video was made.....
that is crazy and a half. oh my. you weren't kidding about the afternoon getting weirder.
ReplyDeleteIf I go all Super Oaty Bars now and take out a whole room with my mad assassin skills after watching this, I don't think any jury would convict me.
ReplyDeleteThis is what it would look like if H.P. Lovecraft decided to do a "Pee-Wee's Playhouse"-style children's show. Except it would have more cats.
ReplyDeleteCLEARLY!!! This video is about global warming. +1 on the comment about this needing to be on the next Katamari sound track.
ReplyDeleteThis video was like a 4 minute sugar tripping unicorn ride through the brain of the bill nye the science guy and Andy Warhol's love child.
wv: ousnip... "Ousnip that last 4 minutes out of my brain, please!" lol JK... I actually... liked? it? I think? Suddenly I want marshmallows.
Well I'm never gonna be able to scrub that from my brain. Kinda liked the faceless, chubby, lunch lady bustin' a move though. Way, Pon, Dude!
ReplyDeleteWow. I feel so normal.
ReplyDeleteIck. And I agree with all of the above. I gave up after 15 seconds.
ReplyDeleteI watched it all. I read all the comments. Are we sure this wasn't the new Katy Perry video for "Last Friday Night?" No? Okay, if you are sure. I think the pantaloons might catch on. I need some Exedrin.
ReplyDeleteGet something else in my head. Now. Please.
ReplyDeleteStill doesn't really make any sense to me...
ReplyDelete...But now I totally want some mac n' cheese.
If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college. I feel a brain aneurysm coming.
ReplyDeleteI let my 3 year old watch this with me. Her response "It's cute mom". Personally, I am trying to stop seizuring.
ReplyDeleteNat
What do I win that I watched the whole thing?
ReplyDeleteAnd may have a costume idea for Dragon*Con?
My friend posted that on facebook last week! Sorry Jen, I'm not watching it again! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw more of her videos on youtube. Too scared to watch any more of them! :P
AAArgh MY EYES, MY EYES!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing about the Mac and Cheese box!!!
ReplyDeleteI've lost so many brain cells watching this.
ReplyDeleteIt does remind me of an ad for Lisa Frank on acid though.
Hopefully something less annoying will get stuck in my head quickly!
Clearly, if you eat special mushrooms and watch this backwards, it's the answer to our budget crisis.
ReplyDeleteIt would be stuck in my head now, but for some reason I keep reverting to the lazy town song....
ReplyDeletePon Pon digga rigga dong
Funny words I sing when I am dancing
I don't think it's a commercial. From the little I can understand of Japanese it's just a song about being happily in love. Or possibly just friendship. But people making each other happy, at any rate.
ReplyDeleteMy Japanese is woeful, I apologize.
oh mi gosh. that video has the creepy/totally entrancing effect going for it...no contest. AHHH!!
ReplyDeleteI am seriously afraid that there was some creepy subliminal message in that thing and you will find me robbing banks at 3am and saying "the eyeball vomit told me to"
ReplyDeleteGood lord. I just watched the whole thing. Twice. The thing that bothers me the most though? This:
ReplyDeleteWhy did her head turn into a ditto?
WTH???
ReplyDeleteFarting rainbows, bleeding eye, vomiting all manner of sundry items, pre-pubescent tiny girls in florescent face paint- and totally nonsensical lyrics?
Who WOULDN'T love this?!?
I think I just had a seizure!
ReplyDeleteIt's oddly mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteHoly Mother of God! It makes a Carmen Miranda movie look like an Amish funeral. Had no problem with watching it after I hit the mute button. What disturbs me is that like Barnie Benton in the 70's, there are no character lines whatsoever in the girl's face. As if her brain had never been troubled by a single thought ever.
ReplyDeleteOw. What just happened? Wow. That was weird. (But I watched the whole thing. Do I get a prize?!)
ReplyDeleteThe main line here is bread... "pon" in Japanese means bread. Therefore, the toast flying around :\
ReplyDeleteMy bf (more versed in things Japanese than me) thinks the faceless dancer is referring to a popular fad in Japan. The term blackface (or "Ganguro" in Japanese) is the trend of people tanning their skin darkly and wearing blonde or orange hair. Hopefully that wasn't too much information :)
And my bf's reaction to the video? "If your brain is about to explode, yell 'Japan levels critical!'"
Cute in excess to the point of vomiting is very Japanese, lol
WV: "fablutie"... this video was very fablutie
After reading an article about it, I STILL don't understand it, but I also am not a fan of pop music in general.
ReplyDeleteAlso--glad I am not the only one who thought of Lisa Frank when I saw this!! Do they even still make Lisa Frank stuff? I used to have a ton of those school supplies...
If I admit to having seen this at least three times before this post and watching and giggling every time, does that make me weird?
ReplyDeleteNo, I dare you to watch all of this...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PjTF_0Ed6s
Now I want to see John doing that little dance.
ReplyDeleteMercy. I just watched the whole thing. Twice. And I was thinking that if I ever had children, this would be the video I would threaten them with to make them behave. But it's odd because looking back on it now, I can't really remember it...or much of the last ten minutes for that matter...
ReplyDeleteponpon wayway pon
ReplyDeleteI almost gave up around 2:47, but didn't want to back down from a dare so i watched the whole thing.
I got dosed at a party in college once and my memories of that make more sense than this video. Really.
I'm not sure i ever recovered from the very beginning when the microphone came out of her ear.
Why, people, why?
I guess ponpon way ponpon is the only answer we'll ever get.
It. just. keeps. going.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree - that song has imbedded a trigger so we all do crazy things for the government when we see mac & cheese. Or femurs. or lisa frank items. or eyeballs?
I actually liked it...
ReplyDeleteBut then again, I'm into video editing and special effects, so that might have something to do with it...
I think my Japanese obsessed daughter has poisoned my brain because I thought it was cute and catchy. I probably need to get out more...
ReplyDeletemy poor little synapses stopped firing somewhere in the second minute- the sound you heard shortly after that was my brain exploding. apparently liking anime doesn't mean I like all Japanese pop culture. :D
ReplyDeleteso, Jen's into steampunk and John likes Lolli girls? LOL
-Barbara Anne
Wow, that really should have had some dancing Tarako Kewpies in it. Want to see some weird Japanese commercials with a jingle that will get stuck in your brain, just search Tarako on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteTarako
Tarako2
Serena, I wondered the same thing about Lisa Frank. Apparently, they DO still make that stuff!
ReplyDeleteLisa Frank
Stationary Set
My favorite YouTube comments about this: "The director had two things in his hands, a joint and a crack pipe" and "Oh my God, it's like a Toys-R-Us threw up on this video."
ReplyDeleteDear lord that is creepy and trippy and oddly catchy
ReplyDeleteMy brother and I sat and watched this entire video, and this was our response:
ReplyDeleteMe: ....did that chick just fart rainbows?!
Him: *hysterical laughter*
Wow.
Re: wvs - Are there a lot of "Says You" fans here?
ReplyDeletewv: midiv - a diversion that happens midway through a diversion. "This video was a collection of midivs."
Weak sauce! Not Japan's craziest thing I've seen! :p And it's catchy too!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! What the heck was that about? I'm a little scared now! And it was so upbeat! I can't help but think it's about murder...
ReplyDeleteAnd what exactly was coming out of her rear end?
Wow, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Fruity Oaty Bars! If that DIDN'T have subliminal messaging in there I'm going to be disappointed. :p
ReplyDeleteUm... Wow. The weirdest part for me is the fact that the ad that is displaying next to the video on your blog is for Charmin, advertising that you can find clean public toilets at blogHer 11 using their free "sit or squat" app. Somehow it fits perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI will never make fun of "Toddlers and Tiaras" again...
ReplyDeleteI think it's a jab at american consumerism...
ReplyDeleteoverload! overload!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who wanted to say "miranda" after watching that! Watch out before all assassin on you! Oh! Shiny! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd now it's stuck in my head, thanks a lot Jen!
And some people think we'll easily communicate on a comprehensible level with beings from ANOTHER PLANET when we're entirely boggled by our own species only an ocean away.
ReplyDeleteYikes. That's what my dreams (nightmares?) look like when I spike a fever.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I'm hungry now for Fiddle Faddle. And Kraft Mac and Cheese.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am clearly too old for this. I find my eye twitching and I'm now afraid of random stuff flying through my house. And who is Lisa Frank? And why should I care?
ReplyDeleteI got half way through it, does that mean I'm half-brainwashed? If I suddenly start doing that dance, I'm suing somebody.
Another wow...just wow...
ReplyDeleteI watched it fully.... like 7 times heheh....
ReplyDeleteI thought it was fantastic I haven't seen such an interesting mix of kitschy-pop-ness and dark imagery well ever really. I mean floating clocks, ravens, skulls, faceless dancers, and tanks drowning in a sea of neon fluff and junk food fantastic, I think I want more.
ReplyDeleteI see Wonka Bottle Caps.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused now.
I don't think its for Kraft mac and cheese but there was definite product placement. Very odd, I wish I knew what it was about...
ReplyDeleteI'm also craving dome Katamari playing, it seems to be the popular thing, I'm gonna go with the trend on this one.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I may have that song stuck in my head now, it overthrew Katy Perry in an epic battle, my brain thanks you
I wanted so much to watch the whole way through, but i couldn't do it. 2.13 minutes.
ReplyDeleteWow. I just watched it all. I wish I hadn't. I'm about to go to bed, and now I'm going to have nightmares...
ReplyDeleteThe video did not disturb me. The fact that the video didn't even garner an eye twitch? Now THAT disturbed me. *slowly backs away from the anime/manga/J-Pop* I think I need a break...
ReplyDeleteI do not care what this video is about - IT. IS. AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI love Japan. Japan needs no explanation. Japan defies explanation, so it is pointless to try.
Just sit back and enjoy it. :D
I think someone has been watching hitchhikers quide to the galaxy while on LSD...
ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHA...my brother is flying home from France to Oregon on Thursday with his 8- and 4- yr old boys.
ReplyDeleteNow I just need to find a way for them to watch it repeatedly on the flight...yes, my brother tortured me as a child. Why do you ask?
WV: upses
Upses, I should have known better than to have accepted Jen's dare.
Is your husband doing the dance yet? That was frighteningly surreal... :S
ReplyDeleteThought you might appreciate this:
http://www.onelargeprawn.co.za/2011/07/22/ponponpon-a-surreal-j-pop-music-video/
And this:
http://wonkytranslation.blogspot.com/2011/07/blog-post.html
I'm going to have this song stuck in my head for the rest of the week, I just know it. Curse you, Jen! o.O
ReplyDeleteAlso, the faceless chubby dancer grew on me after a while... she's just so pumped about life! :D
If you want a video that is catchier and far less traumatizing, look up Hatsune Miku Leekspin (the techno remix is best, but they're all pretty awesome). I'd link it but YouTube is blocked. Another funny Japanese commercial is for the Ippon Manzoku Bar. Win!
ReplyDeleteAnd now reading the comments, I am comforted that I am not the only one who feared River would come in and go all ninja on my ass.
ReplyDeleteOhmagosh, that just got more and more disturbing.
ReplyDeleteAfter she farted the rainbow, which I liked. :)
Here's a song he really won't want to stop singing: Baby Ride Your Firebolt -- a "Firework" spoof for Harry Potter fans.
ReplyDeleteMuwhahahahahaha!! I linked it to a relative and he called me this morning to tell me he hated me... He was on his 5 time watching it!! LOL! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSuddenly I have the urge to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteOBEY MY DOG!
Wow.
ReplyDeleteI watched it all. All of it. Now I have about ten mental scars (five from this video, five from the past *shudders*) and I'm totally showing this to my brother, and then posting it on google buzz.
ReplyDeleteOw... *twitch*
ReplyDeleteI watched the whole thing, but I have no idea what I watched!!!
ReplyDeletewhat disturbs me is the use of VHS still, I mean realy
ReplyDeleteCatchy.
ReplyDeleteMy son totally got hypnotize form the video, yelling wow at the end.
Well it's better than their "cheesy" pubs they got here...
WV: Exica. The exica is just to your left ,down the hall.
I must have blacked out temporarily, because I missed the farting rainbows portion...or maybe my eyes and brain were momentarily too dazed to register everything.
ReplyDeleteThat video makes "Fruity Oaty Bar" kinda make sense and seem subdued.
My 7-month-old LOVED it. When it was done (he stared at the computer, enraptured the whole 4 minutes) he looked up at me and sighed.
ReplyDeleteCharo + Teletubbies with a side of nuclear meltdown.
ReplyDeleteI think my eyes are bleeding
ReplyDeleteI DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING!!! *cries*
ReplyDeleteWV: Consu. As in "After watching that video, I'm pretty sure I Consu you for emotional distress."
I watched the whole thing like a trooper. Some day I long to be a faceless dancing lunch-lady!
ReplyDeleteI watched the whole thing and this has now been added to my list of costumes that I want to make for cons too! Heck yes!
ReplyDeleteI dunno, I think the spongemonkeys were way creepier. Even if we did sing "We like the MOON!" for two years...
ReplyDeleteOh, and everyone who loves chocolate should see this.
Watched it yesterday. And today? TODAY I FOUND MYSELF SINGING IT on the way home from work. Thanks a LOT, Jen.
ReplyDelete*If you listen to it and don't watch the video, it's actually bearable.*
She's from Wisconsin. didn't you see the "cheese head" hat? Also, I'm pretty sure that this is what Charlie saw when he went into Candy Mountain- right before they cut out his kidneys... CANDY MOUNTAIN CHARLIE! Beware- some NSFW language. And if you haven't seen it before... you're welcome.
ReplyDeleteI...think...my brain just died...a little...for every second I watched of that video...and I watched the entire thing....
ReplyDelete...
This has been the second time this weekend where I have found the need to say, "WTF did you just dare me to watch?" *stares fearfully at the video* I'm not sure which is stranger/more disturbing, the other video or this one...
*stares fearfully at both videos*
Gah! I'm crazy enough as is!
The 5-foot chicken link was true gold. Can't get over that picture of the chicken by the door!
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are now bleeding pastel rainbows.
ReplyDeleteMy I say that Japan does have some of the weirdest commercials...
ReplyDeleteLike this one for example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0-2lzA7_Cg
nonstop....
and that's for Vegetable Juice....
My eyes are still twitching. Wowzers.
ReplyDeleteI watched every second of it..... do I get a prize?????
ReplyDeleteI could totally do this...my hopes of being a Japanese pop idol are restored!
ReplyDeleteOMG! That's the kind of stuff the ATF would play at max volume to drive people out of their armed compound.
ReplyDeleteI managed to watch the whole thing along with my darling son. Unfortunately he loved it so much I had to watch it four more times. I guess it is great for 4-year-olds (kidding).
ReplyDeleteWhat just happened…? I feel like I might have to listen to that a few dozen more times.
ReplyDeleteActually, by the time the eyeball vomit occurred, it kinda made sense.
ReplyDeleteHELP ME.
Watched it all the way through. And then again later that day. And then again the next day. Guaranteed to make me smile so thanks for sharing. Now, if I could only get it out of my head...
ReplyDeleteAHHH WHY! That's just nuts!
ReplyDeleteI actually watched the whole thing. Then, I went to YouTube and commented on it. I would ask where you found this, but the answer is obviously YouTube. The question is why? WHY?!?
ReplyDeleteOK, I loved it.
ReplyDeleteBefore this one, my favorite Japanese music video was the Yatta song with the guys dancing around in their underwear with the fake fig leaves. I'm sure you've all seen that one, though . . .
No?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFxjEy4J-7E
Best one I could find, and not good quality--but it gives you the, er, esthetic sense of it.
We should make Congress watch this thing over and over again until they fix the economy!
ReplyDeleteOne time I was babysitting some little girls and they decided to give me a makeover. I ended up with all kinds of junk in my hair, including a barbie doll or two. I didn't know how fashionable (?) that was.
ReplyDeletehttp://agirlinherkitchen.blogspot.com
I like the bit where she eats her own fake moustache , stimulus overload
ReplyDeleteMy 4 year old daughter and 6 month old son LOVED it, if that tells you anything. It's either crack for little kids or mine are just weird.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this is actually a music video for a song by Yasatuku Nakata, from her album Mini Harajuku. She's pretty popular in Japan.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I actually kinda liked it?
ReplyDeletecatchy, though I could not manage to keep my eyes focused while watching it.
ReplyDeleteI was totally having the same problem!
DeleteI love this song, I've been listening to it for ages! I know the whole thing off by heart... Yes it's sad but... I love Kyary Pamyu Pamyu so much! She's so kawaii! MOE!
ReplyDelete
